The thyroid guy seems nice but reminds me a little of Dr. Steve Brule. For your health!
Truth: in the fourth grade, Adam Horowitz had a birthday party on Halloween (his birthday) and I thought we were supposed to dress up, so I wore my grandpa's clown suit with clown makeup, but apparently I didn't get the memo and I was the only one dressed up, causing much hilarity among my Greenwich Village peers, and the girl I had a crush on announced "I think he's a nice clown." In retrospect, I could have saved the day by acting crazy and running around clowning and lampooning my friends. But I was just mortified⦠Yes, the sting of exclusion builds character
ππΌ WayππΌTo ππΌ GoππΌ NeilππΌ Thank you for being so brave to pick TRUTH!!!! I didn't know you grew up in Greenwich Village. I am sure your crush meant it when she said "you're a nice clown!" - WHERE IS SHE NOW?!?! My childhood crush is a fast food reviewer / tik tok influencer and he walked away from me at a Greenday reunion concert 2 years ago in NYC when I mentioned a joke about adr3n0chrome. :/ REJECTION IS GOD'S PROTECTION. Here are 2 custom digital gifts exclusive for you to shake off your stagnant mortification as a thank you for your bravery in answering TRUTH! KEEP CLOWNING and thanks for being YOU! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLoUC466n_k and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQUqrKxjkV8
This crush is now a literary agent. Most of my childhood and adolescent crushes and friends turned out pretty decently, but I am usually somewhat reticent about sharing my worldview with them. Not that I hide, but I don't necessarily ->lead<- with tales of satanic elites. ;β’)
Thanks for the wonderful video gift. I was moved by the recent passing of my namesake, and this is possibly his greatest accomplishmentβ in my opinion, one of the most romantic songs ever. What do you think?
Maybe one day you will write a book about clowning/and share it with your literary childhood crush - with no need for approval from her or her agency - since you have published it yourself with your printing in Arizona like your zines which I hope to read one day - and everything will come full circle. The lyrics of that song are so sincere and vivid, thanks for sharing. May the rains and our hearts be cleared of all stagnancy, through laughter and other forms of healing. I had no idea your namesake had left his mortal coil so recently! Thanks for sharing and thanks again for your bravery in PLAYING TRUTH here in this corner of Substack!
Actually, many pages in THE BLOB are occupied with unredacted descriptions of various pranks committed by me over a few decades.
And since we cannot share pictures in this thread, I changed my profile picture to one from when I played a clown in the Pinocchio school play the previous year in Rome, Italyβstrictly in the interest of a full disclosure so you can accurately weigh the gravity of my truth telling.
It's a nice little corner you have carved out for yourself here. I like it!
